years the glow of our skin increases rather than decreases. But if
you want to have youthful and supple skin then you must take the proper
care of it. Your skin needs your attention in order to stay young
and remain glowing.
But as easy as it seems having the right and effective
skin care regime is not always easy. Skin, our outermost layer of
our body, it is susceptible to pollutants, dust and dirt. As you take
out time to work on your body, taking care of your skin should be
natural to you. Consider it not as a luxury, but a necessity.
As we grow older our skin starts to become less supple.
Many of us think that before thirty do we need to worry about our
skin. This however is wrong. Once you are on the other side of twenty,
it is important to begin a skin care regimes. You can keep it very
simple yet effective.
So let us get on with some tips for effective skin
care. These tips are handy and easy to use. But following them religiously
should be your motto. After that you will see that great and timeless
skin becomes a reality from being a dream.
1. CTM!
Cleansing, Toning and Moisturising! These are the
three words that can do wonders for your skin. This will keep your
skin fresh, clean and also keep its natural beauty intact. It is generally
recommended to thoroughly cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin early
morning and before going to bed everyday. A good regime follows:
* Cleanse using a good cleanser and massage your
face gently.
* Now rinse with plain water.
* Avoid using soaps.
* After cleansing, put some toner on a cotton ball and stoke over
face and neck.
* Avoid the eye area but apply a suitable cream with upward motion.
2. Take care of it at home!
If you want supple skin to stay with you for longer,
a weekly exfoliation may be of a great help. Immediately after exfoliation
apply a face mask suitable to your skin type. It is advised not to
exfoliate more than twice a week. You can choose a face mask that
is soothing and relaxing. Ingredients like cucumber help in relaxing
you. You can do all this at home as well. If you know some home made
recipes, they can do wonders for you.
* Mix honey with lemon and vinegar and apply three
times a week.
* You can make a great face pack by mixing Fullers Earth with raw
milk or rose water
* Washing your face with rose water is a great way to feel fresh
* Papaya can be used well for exfoliation
3. Eyes speak it all!
Taking care of your eyes is as important as that of
the rest of your face. The area around your eyes is the most vulnerable
and you need to take extra care of it. Find a good eye cream for yourself
and apply it regularly. While applying face packs, avoid contact with
eyes and areas around your eye.
4. Healthy eating can be a great way to gorgeous
skin!
If your diet is balanced, it will be very beneficial
to you in the long run. Now only will your body be healthy but your
skin will stay supple and fresh. Drinking plenty of water, eating
green leafy vegetables and exercising will bring natural glow to your
skin. This will help keeping it young and blossoming forever to come.

a cream base can work wonders for dark circles under the eyes. One
